Is a hot bath or cold bath better for sore muscles?

I've heard that taking an extremely hot bath is good for you. But people also say that taking an ice bath helps sore muscles. Which one works better? Every day I come home and take a cold bath to help my muscles feel better because I have tryouts this whole week.

  1. Cold first to reduce inflamation. Hot if you are sore afterwards to relieve lactic acid build up.  


  2. Iv been realy sore in the past and in my experiance hot bath is the best. Take a shower and run hot water on the place that is sore. The reason hot is beter is cuz it sooths the place. Hope this helps.

  4. take a cool shower and then a warm bath not too hot.

    The heat and warmth from the water helps relax the muscles.

    And, some bubbles wouldn't hurt either.
