Is a jeep grand cherokee good for a teen?

i really want a jeep grand cherokee as my first car the newest model year 05 - 08 i am a teen i also know that the jeep gets bad gas millege but i still really want one, i no that much into small cars cause im big and tall and i like the power that the jeep has. so do you think that this would be a good car for me and by the way im used to driving a truck with horible turning just as bad gas milege and longer

One thing that I have found on the jeep grand cherokee is the steering is a little light for my taste feels a little unstable.

The jeep is a nice vehicle, It has a pretty stable power-train. Just be careful of roll over as with any suv.

Yeah they are, but they have too much unnecessary power and off road handling for a teenager not minding the gas mileage. I'm not forcing you, like I said they are good cars, safe and reliable.

i have a jeep grand cherokee an mine isn't really all that bad on gas . mine is a 6 cy. i have seen some really sharp ones out there an in reality in case of a accident it would be safer than a smaller car
