I am from the US and am 2 days from moving to Canada to begin my journalism degree studies at a university and I just realized there is a difference between the styles taught (Canadian press vs. American press). I have other reasons too but I am considering backing out and staying in the US and looking for a different school. However, if I do go and obtain a Bachelor of Journalism in Canada would it have any value when I brought it home? Or would I be causing myself trouble in the future? I only have a 2 days to figure out what to do!

In Canada there are fewer school + no SAT. This means you get access to higher quality schools (world ranking wise) no matter who you are. Journalism from a place as saturated as the US is borderline worthless. However, if you go to Canada you will get co-op (placement in a leading newspaper firm) + a chance to have the benefits of Canada's foreign degree lockout. Even if you aren't that great a journalist, you'll get a job and be paid higher than the US counterpart. I'm just talking about jounalism, btw.
