  1. yes

  2. I think being a journalist would be a wonderful and exciting job. I wish I had persued it .  Just think of all the things you can write about, places you will see, people you will meet.

The list is unlimited and the sources to sell you stories are limitless.  My favorite day dream is to equip my suv for sleeping and travel, carry a couple weeks worth of cloths, my camera, my recorder and my journal and take the old route 66 from one end of the country to the other end and stop in the little town that have been long forgotten and interview the the people, maybe even work a couple of weeks at a diner to make some extra money and get some great stories.

Put all this together for a series and sell it to the Travel Channel or something like that.  Just think of the stories the older citizens would have to tell, the step back in time to the mom and pop motels.

I think it would be just wonderful and if you have the knack for it and excell at all, then by all means, follow your dreams.

    Best wishes, Jackie b

  3. Journalism can be exciting as you desire.  You determine if being a journalist will be exciting and a good job.  Reporters who truely love the craft make journalism a lifestyle instead of merely a job.

I have worked in more than 40 nations and have had a lifetime of excitement in the job.  Some other reporters might like to work within a 20-mile radius and have their own brand of excitement.

  4. Ya ofcourse but u need to love the profession and gotta stick to it.........................try getting info bt it frm............

  5. It can be exciting but more often, it's just satisfying and some days it's boring. You wouldn't want a job to be exciting all the time or you'd burn out. Good ... well, it's a steady job - is that what you mean by good? It can be well-paid if you make a name for yourself as a reporter, or rise through the ranks of the production staff (they are journalists too).

  6. depends on who you work for, what your assignment is and what you are interested in... sometimes, like any other job it has it's banalities.

  7. yes and no
