I have this book that I fill in about my kitten like coloring, age, behavior, etc. Well one is for the paw prints. When she was younger I could paint it no problem but just today I went to paint it and she didn't like it so I stopped and now she is l*****g her paw. I got off most of the paint but she is still l*****g. She is 4 months old, she is going to be okay?

  1. hopefully you used the type of paint that we use to get hand and foot prints from babies or finger paint.... if you did you shouldn't have that much of a problem ...she just doesn't like paint on her paws... cats are real clean animals and paint on paws I mean come on!!

  2. When my cat was real young I was painting a mural of him on the wall. I was using acrylic paint. I noticed little orange footprints on the floor, and I realized he had knocked over the container I was using and he had a little paint on his paw and leg. I immediately put him in the sink, and used warm water and baby shampoo to get it out. It worked just fine, I followed up with my vet and they said that was a good thing to do in a paint emergency. It really depends on the kind of paint, how much, and how you're getting it off. You're kitty should be fine if it was just a little. I certainly hope so!

  3. Obviously paint it toxic,

whether we ate it or an animal,

call a vet right a way!

  4. Any doubt, see your vet. She'll know the answer.

  5. toxic paint yes non toxic paint most likely no.

  6. Depends on what kind of paint it is. Some acrylic paints are non-toxic. Check the pot! If she seems normal than shes ok!
