Is a memory card different than a flash drive?

I wanted a flash drive but, got a memory card. Did I get the wrong thing?

no not really there are very similair but you still need a memory card for a camera or something if ur not a HACKER

flash and memory cards are confusing, also is the term jumpdrive which they all mean the same in general terms.

memory cards is a flash memory for digital cameras

flash drive! is a jumpdrive!, which is what you want to put into the UBD and put your storage, and the flash you want to take photos yet you can still store items into it and transfer it with also taking pictures on the flash(memory card)
