Is a military dependent ID suitable id for getting a passport?

its the only id i have

but im over 18

theres not enough time to get a drivers license or state id

  1. Yes (as long as you also have a birth certificate).

    This from the State Department website:

    You may prove your identity with any one of these, if you are recognizable:

    Previous U.S. passport (mutilated, altered, or damaged passports are not acceptable as proof of identity.)

    Naturalization Certificate

    Current, valid

    Driver's license

    Government ID: city, state or federal

    Military ID: military and dependents


  2. It is a valid picture ID issued by the United States Government. It will probably work.
