Is a minolta maxxum a good camera?

I'm looking at cameras and found a good deal on this camera..should i get it?

It depends on which model. The Maxxum 7000 was introduced in 1985 and there were numerous models afterwards. The 7000 was the first full-featured 35mm SLR film camera with auto focus.

One nice thing about the Maxxum is its lenses are compatible with the new Sony DSLR cameras - A100, A200, A300, A350, A700.
