dont listen to these douches i dont mind it the bearings a fucked you replace those you are 100% good to go im a pro and i have a mongoose becuase my vision and plan b and element breack i use it as a tmperary and it is insane it has good pop

Well I've been skating for bout 2 1/2 years now and well my Zero board snapped,so my cousins friend gace me his mongoose board,and it was like in perfect condition,its not bad,its ok,not real good,its....good.But things i didnt like was that i got razor tail in like 4 days,the tail look kinda disformed,but suprisingly its still has good pop,there even better if you upgrade there parts,wen i got it it had cheap stock stuff on it so i put on some new black magics grip tape, independent trucks,bones stf wheels, and bones super reds bearings,and it is just plain awesome now! da board is pretty lite so i can do flip tricks pretty easy and it can with stand e doin tricks with it off stairs,not huge stairs just descent size 3 and 4 sets,so over all mongoose boards are good,better if u upgrade them but good.Hope This Helps!

Omg it just sucks bad i broke my trunk in 15 days after buying i this vision street wear is way better for learners. Get it from your nearest sports check it is only $50 and it is the best 4 beginners.
It worked for me and i am a now a professional skateboarder, and a skateboarding teacher and a skateboarding councilor, and i also own a west49 skate store i think that dont buy cheap a*s wallmart or canadian tire just get a $50 dollar skateboard

i own one and im surprized it has lasted this long im 11 years old and personaly i like mongoose i payed at least $35 on mine it has good enough wood to last 2 years i have had mine for a year and i still have it so i say yes

some of the boards that you get from wal-mart are ok not good but ok... A mongoose is only good when you pay around 50$!!!
