  1. >nope,LOL, I have enough going on, I dont want to be inviting anything where there is nothing to begin with. I take a pass when it comes to my home. And besides, you already know what goes on around my house and I was not even trying to investigate anything.. LOL I know, chicken.

edit: does that include taking pics in your home? LOL

  2. I know many people in the field that are in it because of checking out their homes and then needing to learn more. I have also found that these people are less likely to become un-nerved than others because of living with and checking out their own hauntings.

  3. I investigated my own home first. That is why I became an investigator. I had problems researched investigated and it just snowballed from there.

However now, I do not nor do I want to investigate my home.

Things seem to be quiet and if there is anything it isn't bothering me so why bother it.

  4. I am always interested in what goes on around here, but most of our investigations are done for people who request our help.  They mostly want to know what is going on and want to know that they have not gone crazy and going to end up in the rubber room.

  5. I guess you're talking about investigators. If it was MY  home..I would definitely investigate it before I'd investigate anyone else's home. I'm going to be babysitting in a historical house soon where they said they've suspected ghosts when they lived there before..They've been remodeling. So I guess I'll find out how brave..or not..I am! lol Used to not be scared at all  of them. What happened?? Now I"m REALLY SCARED of them! Maybe I had some kind of "cloud" or something around me that made me not scared then. When that was taken away...I realized what was really happening.

Congratulations on your new badge!!! Just noticed it!! Nice "BLING"!! lol

  6. I would say that one becomes accomstumed to what's around one's own house.  Senses are heightened when going out looking for events elsewhere.  Doesn't make what's at home less real, just less likely to be spotted.

  7. Well, I first started investigating in my house using a digital tape recorder. Then I moved on to cemeteries and then I've been in my grandmother's house and my aunt's house. I got a lot of stuff in all of these places. Some of what i got I didn't like, though. So just be aware that some of the spirits may be used to you and others see you as some sort of threat.

To answer your question, more or less, I first became interested by using my own home to investigate in first, but I loved travelling across the country to see other places as well.
