  1. yes, in some ways

  2. No they have not done all the necessary learning and medical qualifications ~~

  3. You are compairing apples and oranges my dear.  If the pharmacist has a Doctorate in pharmacology than they are close but the dr. in pharm. is no where near as difficult as being an MD!

  4. you could say that...

pharmacists are as important as the doctor, just in a slightly different way. pharmacists have to be VERY CAREFUL because they have to make sure each patient gets his/her proper medicine and there are no mix-ups. doctors have to be as accurate as possible with their diagnosis for every patient and every prescription. in most cases, the pharmacist probably knows you better than the doctor.

  5. I assume by "doctor" you mean a Doctor of Medicine, or an MD.

In that case the answer is no. A pharmacist is a pharmacist and a doctor is a doctor. They are not the same thing or "equal".

Pharmacists can be called "Dr." because many have earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree just like someone who has earned a PhD degree can also be called "Dr". But they are not medical doctors.

  6. no, not at all. pharmacist have the knowledge of dispensing the medicines and giving advices but not diagnosing the illness or sickness of the patients

  7. no

  8. Not at all........

  9. You are not comparing like with like. Qualifications would be on a par but the doctor has to have that genuine caring attribute and the ability to match the malady with the correct & most effective drug. The chemist has the less complicated but nevertheless difficult and highly responsible  task of serving the prescribed drug(s)

  10. Yes and No!  If the Pharmacist has a Doctorate degree in pharmacology (Pharm D) then indeed he/she is a doctor of pharmacy.  However, a person may practice being a Pharmacist with a Baccalaureate Degree in pharmacology.

  11. yes!

  12. no pharmacists only dispense, doctors diagnose and prescribe my dear

  13. No

A doctor, a GP,  can prescribe medicine and in some cases conduct minor surgery The pharmacist can do neither of these things.

The pharmacist dispensed medicines as prescribed by the doctor or dispense non-prescription medicines at the patients request.
