I know that passports make things easier but still, is a photo ID enough if you are a EU citizen?

  1. I believe  that you need an official ID card - like some EU citizens carry. But a passport is best since UK is not part of the Schengen area.

  2. UK immigration accept either passports, or the national identity card from citizens of the EU.
