If a museum covers up a painting, does it mean that the painting doesn't exist because no one can see it?

Yes it does because everything is concious so everything observes everything.

Absolutely- not!  There are 'many' things of this world, universe, that cannot be seen by the naked eye.  This does not mean that they do not exist!
