  1. I feel it slides in a lot more comfortably than a cardboard applicator...

I've tried the cheap cardboard ones at the "emergency stations" in the public restrooms, and they are so uncomfortable...

It's like they scratch you on the way up... Not nice.

The plastic applicator is smooth and easy to use... painless...

Ultimately, it's up to you to try them, and see which one suits you best...

    Hope I helped...

  2. Yes, plastic is easier to insert than a cardboard applicator when first starting out.

  3. no cardboard does exactly the same job and is better for the environment and 100% biodegradable!:-)

  4. It's easier to insert!

  5. Plastic feels better,

    yet cardboard is more envirofriendly.

I say, why not just recycle the plastic ones? :S

  6. I prefer it, but they both do the same job.

  7. They both do the same thing, but if ur just beginning I would just go with plastic until ur comfortable with tampons. after that you wont notice a difference for real.

  8. Yea it is better for you because with cardboard it is more likely for you to get TSS (toxic shock syndrome).

  9. yes, cardboard really hurts

  10. difinately!! =]

  11. yes

  12. I really don't think there's a significant difference - cardboard is more "enviorment friendly" though LOL

  13. Well, yes I prefer plastic applicators so much more. Less pain! But if you are trying to be environment friendly but with out any poking or pinching while inserting, try Playtex Beyond tampons. They have a cardboard applicator, but it is shaped like a plastic applicator with the tapered edge.

  14. carboards are much more comfortable and easy to put in plastic kinda just pokes you and it hurts
