  1. No.  Isn't that the size of the ones you find in most pubs?

  2. No this is full size.. i know because i made the mistake of buying one thinking it was smaller without checking the size!! its huge!! same as you see in the pubs

  3. no

  4. the thing to take into consideration when fitting a pool table into your home is you need a 5ft area around the table to be able to use the cue if the ball stops around the egde when playing, 6ft x 3ft isnt full size but there are a lot smaller out there, also make sure your table is pretty stable so the balls that are resting by the pockets arnt knocked in when you walk round the table and accidently bump the table, a good plan would be to take the name of a company that supply you local bars table [you should find this on the table some where] and ask them if they have any 2nd hand tables for sale

  5. Depends on what you're going to use it for.

A regulation snooker table is 12' × 6', but it can be played on tables as small as 6' × 3'.

However, a table for other pool games (usually in the US) should be between 9' × 4.5' and 7' × 3.5'.

  6. I guess in the UK it would be standard but over here that would not be a serious table I would also question the quality of the table its self as to material for the bed I doubt it would be slate

Also a "flip"conversion I wouldnt think it would stay level to well

  7. if you want a pool table buy a pool table, if you want an air hockey table buy an air hockey table. But if you buy them combined then playing on them would be much different from playing on the proper thing. There is no point of getting a pool table unless it is a slatebed. And yes the flipping table would affect the way you play pool.

  8. personally I would buy a recon pub table with a slate bed for that money!  Look in your yellow pages or check the big markets like Hemswell.

6x3 is a decent enough size certainly or the 8x4 is better.
