Is a portable DVD player capable of recieving a calbe/dtv signal?

Of coarse it would need the correct inputs, but the question is more pointed to whether or not it has to have a built in tv tuner.

  1. no they do not have built in tuners.  you will need a separate tuner to plug into the dvd player to view on its screen.
