  1. All hamsters sleep all the time because they are all low on energy. A pregnant hamster can have dangerously low energy or none at all...Lets just hope it eats.

Good luck with the baby hamsters!

  2. hamsters i'm talking hamsters now ordinarily do sleep a lot but just poke it with a stick or something just to make sure. I hope it didn't die though.

    HOPE IT HELPED

  3. As long as she eats and drinks... She is just giving all her energy to her babies...

Make sure you give her a TON of food and throw in fresh veggies and fruits too to make sure her unborn babies are getting everything they need to be born healthy!

Also, once they are born, don't be surprised if a couple of them randomly disappear... If she gives birth to 6 and only 4 make it to adult hood yet you don't find their bodies... Well... They ate that one...

It happened with mine and I had just normal, average hamsters...

It is just nature doing it's thing...

Good luck! And make sure the cage is big enough for all dem' babies!

  4. Make sure whether it is alive or not... Hamsters are primarily considered crepuscular(animals that are primarily active during twilight, hence at dawn and at dusk.) and at one point were considered nocturnal as they are sometimes active all night and they usually sleep there all the time during day times. Sleeping all night is not normal. So, may be your hamsters might be active at night. Hamsters breeding season is from April to October, with two to five litters of 1 to 13 young being born after a gestation period of 16 to 22 days. Moreover what type of Hamster do you have? I recommend seeing a vet with him. Sleeping all the time might be a sign of a illness, for example an infection.

I hope I was of some help to you.

Sometimes when hamsters are not handled for a few days, they can become lazy and lethargic. If you have got her from a pet shop where they do not provide much activities for hamsters, then she could have developed a habit of sleeping all the time. Since she sleeps all the time, she does not eat much or drink much since there is no activity for which he uses energy.

  5. NO, it's dead

  6. Hamsters sleep alot during the day.If she is pregnant she has no energy she needs to eat!Make sure she is still alive,They are usaully active at night. But since she is pregnant she might have some energy

  7. You might want to poke it with a sharp stick.  It might be dead.  Good luck.
