  1. I'm a registered dietitian (food and nutrition expert) and a pumpkin is a fruit, botanically speaking. So are squash and zucchini b/c they have seeds.  If you are speaking in culinary terms, they can all be properly called VEGETABLES.

So, it's both...depends on if you are talking to a culinary specialist (chef) or a botanist!  How's that for craziness?!!

  2. it's a FRUIT! :]

    well i think it is....

    =/

  3. i don't think it's a fruit.... it's a vegetable

  4. It has two purposes in life, the first is to be a jack-a-lantern. The second is to be a pie. Therefore they haven't decided what they are. They are a vegetable in the north where they grow on the ground and they are a fruit in the south where they grow on trees. Can you tell I have no clue, just liked the question.

  5. It's a vegetable. It is in the squash family, which are all vegetables.

  6. It is a Veggie as far as I am concerned.
