Is a question about a CINEGO D-1000?

hi everyone,

i whould like to buy a Cinego D-1000 projector and just want to know if it a great projector. want to buy a use one. like how much should i pay for one?

and other question.

what happen if there are no more hours on the buld, and do i have to buy a new one and how much it will cost me?

Well, make sure you understand:

1. the projector has NO way to ceiling mount, so it will have to be shown on a tabletop.  If you have kids you are going to get a lot of smudgemarks on the lens, not to mention the possibility of having it dropped :(

2. Replacement bulbs for ANY projector will run about $250-300 MINIMUM.  How much are you buying the projector for?  You'll need to consider that too, since if it says it's over the initial hours that's another purchase to consider (not to mention a dimmer picture, when the bulb starts to go htey dim alot)

I would recommend something like the Optima HD70 if you are starting out, a new one will run you about $800 and you get a 720P HD resolution.  The Cinego only has a 480P resolution.
