Is a "D" in geometery consider a passing grade?

Okay so this semester i got a "D" (60.6%)

I don't know why i slacked off so much, with all these things that were bugging me. So i failed almost every quiz with a D/F, my teacher makes quizzes worth 75% of your grade, which made many struggle to pass the class.

I got A's and B's in all my other classes except geometery. Im just concerned. Is that a passing grade to earn credits? will i go into Algebra 2 next year?

not at all... summer school is your best option. hire a tutor next time. trust me, i've been there before. its not at all pleasant.

D is passing.  

However, a D puts your GPA in the toilet.

Go to summer school.  Get a tutor.

Get this off your record.

College should be part of your life plan,

a D will hurt your chances, not to mention

it also indicates that your ability to master

lightly complicated material is limited.

This is fixable.  Pay now with time and effort,

don't play now, otherwise you'll pay later with a piece of c**p job that pays next to nothing, you live in a piece of c**p house,and your kids wear piece of c**p clothes.

Suspect you knew the answer all along.

Go for it now and don't get in this position again

Its passing, but barely. You may have trouble with Algebra 2, unless you plan to study.

well, it isn't exactly passing, but it isn't failing either. The only thing a person can do, is try harder. failing is an F . . . simple as that. But this doesn't mean that you should go around slacking off thinking that a D will do the trick. Believe me. I know- from experience!

It's a passing grade in high school, to colleges it's a fail.

No, this is not considered passing. Talk to your school counselor to discuss repetition or an alternative class.
