  1. Hamsters don't have that little babys, I mean either you scared her into eating most of them or, alot of them were born dead so she ate the corcuss's. If it's from the trademark: Critter Trails,,, then it is probably big enough.

  2. DEFINITELY NOT.

Your baby syrian hamsters will grow into big syrian hamsters in a month's time and this cage is too cramped even for one syrian. It is only ideal for one dwarf hamster.

By the way, you cannot put two syrian hamsters together. If they are pups, you will have to separate them at their 4th or 5th week, otherwise they are going to have vicious fights. And this cage is too cramped for 4 syrian pups. Also you cannot separate the pups from the mother unless they are 2-3 weeks old.

If you plan to keep the babies with you only, then invest in one cage for each. If you plan to give them away after 5th week, why not look for some cost effective bin cages to temporarily house them. The following website will give you some ideas -

  3. well it would be big enough when they are babies but when they grow up it will be cramed unless your going to get a new cage when they grow up and you shouldnt put the babies in by their selves because they cant take care of themselves unless they are atleast 4 weeks old

  4. I think that's good enough. As long as you have all the materials that a hamster need. And plus, hamsters cuddled together a lot. and beware, there might be more hamsters babies if there's male/female baby hamster. Because they grow up, and could breeed easily!! Hope this help

  5. For babies, maybe. But you'll want to get something AT LEAST the size of a 10 gallon fish tank for each hamster. And that's wonderful that your first litter survived Mommy's jaws. None of mine did. You have a very nice hammy. And just for future reference, the litters get bigger as time goes by.

But no, I wouldn't put them in something so small.

  6. just put them in another bin it will have a lot more room.  There will be no chance that they will squeeze through the bars

  7. NO...its way too small!!!!!!
