Is a "two-way Winger' a Winger who can play right & left, center, & point, &/or 1 who can play defense too?

Lotsa news articles describing players who are "two-way Wingers," but can't find an actual definiton for that hockey term anywhere on the Net!

  1. Any two way player in hockey is one who plays well offense and defense

  4. a lot of people thnik or say Wayne Gretzky played center but if you watch some of the game tapes you can see he really played wing I know he took opening faceoffs but Messier took most of them.

    I can think of Mcsorley who played wing and defense.
