Yes.  In the early days, they were made of clay, or Play Doh.  Some people even tried to make them using tapioca pudding.  Everyone failed.  EVERYONE.

SO now they are made of hard plastic.  And that's just the way of things.  I know the answer probably hurt you, but you are a big girl now.
