  1. Your EFC means you're expected to contribute $1,498.  It is bad if you can't afford it but it can also be good if you can afford it and thinks it's cheap.


  2. You will not get a full pell grant unless you have a 0 EFC.  I would estimate that you probably receive about 1200 a semester if you go full time.

  4. The lower the score the better off you are. An EFC of 1498 is very low considering the cost of tuition at most colleges and universities. You will probably get a full Pell Grant, Work Study, and Loans.
