I'm at a crossroads with myself, and it does not help that my dad made comments about my weight, and my mom finally said I need to lose five pounds. I am laying off the junk food, and I go back and forth about whether to go on a diet or not. I take birth control, a multivitamin, and also am on celexa for PMDD, but I was this weight before taking the Celexa... and the birth control did not add to my weight because I have been taking it since 2006. I am 5"4'' 1/2 in tall, and my weight fluctuated between 155, 157. Though for years I was a size 7, weight a little above 125. Now I'm 23, just married, and wear a size 11...am I overweight?

  1. You are slightly overweight with a BMI of 26 ideally this number should be 20-24. Drop 10-15 pounds and you&#039;ll be in the healthy range. You aren&#039;t too far overweight it&#039;s nothing to be very worried about. Just don&#039;t let your weight get out of control and try to get a little more exercise. Drink more water and eat your breakfast!! And never ever eat until you feel full. Also don&#039;t eat constantly just eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some days allow yourself a snack but not every day. Try not to exceed 1600 calories per day.


  2. According to the BMI Index, you are only slightly overweight. But if you are happy with your body, think you look great, and are healthy, don&#039;t let other people make you insecure about yourself. You look great!
