Is a sniper mos in iraq any less dangerous than regular infantry?

I heard they are more of an over-watch than they are combat. What could i expect to see during training, Sniper school, and iraq?

OK there big guy sniper isn't an MOS it is an addition skill school that is usually given to Infantry Soldiers.

Only the very best "riflemen" are selected for sniper training. You will be expected to kill. Can you do that?

I thought you were going into intel? All combat positions have their degree of dangerous.  you can't do both.....
