It seems that Americans have the most desirous nature of anyone in the world.

Anything we 'want' we can have.

  1. Desire, yes, many countries are formed due to a desire for more freedom and self determination, such as America.  When a country loses it's sense of desire for these, they usually go away, such as Austria in the 1930's and Scotland in the 1600's.

      America had a desire for self determination, and that sparked it's revolution and formation, the desire to improve, protect and provide personal freedom has made the US so powerful.  Slavery had nothing to do with it, much of US power came AFTER we abolished slavery.


  2. Its usually founded on who has the best army.

  3. A successful country is founded in one of two ways

    1.) They have trade advantages...that's how America became powerful, through slavery, and shipment to europe, etc

    2.) Military force.
