Is a suzuki 8hp outboard a 2 stroke?

1986 was the first year 4 strokes were produced, but I don't believe Suzuki was producing 4 stroke 8hp's back then. Does it have a separate oil reservoir? That should tell you if its a 2 stroke.

yes, and if it has an oil tank inside the cowling it might be oil injected and needs to be checked out by someone who knows ,, cause it can block up and you may have to mix oil in the fuel
