Is a tan peacoat too old for a 17/18 year old?

I seem to invision it on my grandmother or something. What is your opinion.

No. If you only wear 'classic' things and styles all the time then yes, but if everything else you wear is different according your taste then go for it. I love the coat!

absolutely not. a pea-coat (especially that style is a timeless trendy). it has been stylish for a long time and will continue to be. i have a black one that i bought in high school (almost exactly like this) and i still wear it five years later!  i say go for it!

ps - a good fashion reference is the InStyle book (InStant Style - i think) i bought it and love it! great ideas for style and what pieces to invest in, and what pieces you can scoop up at forever 21 without anyone knowing the difference.

I love love love peacoats anyone can wear them no matter your age.  The link doesnt work, so i cant tell you how the coat itself looks but i love black peacoats and a tan one would probably be fine.

The picture doesnt show but I LOVE PEACOATS> Theyre sooo sophisticated looking and alot of 15+ yr olds shop at JCREW. Besides peacoats are awesome
