Is a taxi or a bus cheaper from Hartford bus station to Hartford Airport?

Is it cheaper to take a bus from from the old state house in Hartford to the Hartford Airport (Bradley International), or is it cheaper to go by taxi and split the fare 3 ways? I see a time schedule for the buses, but can not find the exact fares. Even though the buses might be cheaper, is a taxi more convenient because they run at more various times?
