Knowledge  is wonderful..........but ya can't EAT  chalk.

And ya can't coax edilble things out of the ground, unless ya know a thing or two.

Both are noble professions.

They are both equally hard careers.

Teachers spend hours teaching kids (that, half the time, are unruly) and spend hours after work preparing new lessons and marking quizzes and homework.

Farmers aren't doing so well due to the economy at the moment. So, less money at times. It involves alot of back breaking labour and alot of long days spend tending fields and getting crops ready to sell.

Both very hard jobs and you need to be smart for both of them.
