Is a tower or tripod better for wakeboarding?

I've been wakeboarding from my dads fish'n boat for about 2 yrs. We just got a 2000model 21ft bayliner. Would it help me to expand my skills if I had a tower or tripod?

basically the tower will put your rope higher so that it will allow you to get more air, giving you more time to do air tricks. go with the tower

ya it makes it alot easier to get up and get more air
