Is a travelling lifestyle better for the environment or worse?

If you travel, you lessen your chances of depleting resources in one area - but doesn't the gas cost kind of ruin the environmental friendliness of this option?

  1. If EVERYONE had a traveling lifestyle then we'd end up just the same, depleting resources.  However, we'd be using more gasoline and polluting even more!  We'd be spending more also, places to eat, places to sleep, etc.  Also, we'd probably not be as healthy as we could because of the lifestyle.

  2. worse

  3. Much worse who is looking after the garden when you travel and the gnomes may run of with the neighbours fairies if they are left alone to long

    rabbits cant satisfy them forever

  4. If you travel in a gas-guzzler then most likely not.

  5. But if you do like I do, and walk everywhere when you travel then there is no cost besides the McDonald 1$ cheeseburgers I use to fuel myself.

  6. People take out their stress with wars also.  Most likely they just don't go anywhere else for fun.  It's not better environment there either.  Most people traveling for a reason.

  7. Yes.

  8. It depends how you travel.

If you travel via motorcycle or scooter gas or electric it's not so bad... if you train hop, or hitch hike it's not so bad ... if you ride a horse, a donkey, a mule, a goat, or anyother ridable animal it's not so bad ... but if you ride a bicycle everywhere, or have a vehicle that runs only on bio-fuel or the sun or air or all three lol or if you use your feet (and walk jog or run), or if you travel in the water ways using only a paddle like and not an engine, then yeah traveling might be better. Just because you use up stuff in one area doesn't mean you can't give it back, if you travel frequently this *might* lessen the amount you would need to give back to one particular area.

  9. It all depends on how you travel, if you try to use environmentally friendly mode of transportation then no, I don't think so. But if you use a gas guzzling smog machine then yes it is bad. This just my option though
