  1. for me no. because when i'm outside i can go were i want were as if i'm on a treadmill i can only run in place

  2. Not really. It could be easier on the treadmill. You always run faster outside,

  3. its not the same. being on a treadmill is easier because its at a controlled environment. Whenever you get tired, you can just hop off. Plus the treadmill belt is always moving so you don't have to spend extra energy to push off the ground with every step.

Running outside is harder because there are little things you have to spend energy on...like going uphill or downhill, avoiding rocks and cracks, pushing off the ground, etc.

  4. It's definitely not the same. The difference is that when you're running outside you have to put in 100% effort. With a treadmill, only about 60% (not exaggerating)...if that.

It's not uncommon for someone who runs an hour on the treadmill, to go outside for the first time and find that they can't even manage 10mins.

It's different. It's just a different level of running. But it's worth every minute. So ditch the treadmill and run outside. Once you've run outside, you can NEVER go back to treadmill!
