Is a urinary tract infection , catchy. Like a cold ?

My girlfreind got a urinary tract infection and the next day, i had the symptoms. Is it possible???? I dont think so , but it is a bacteria.

UTI's can be passed sexually so you should go to your doctor, especially if you already have symptoms so that they can give you antibiotics. I wouldn't stress it too much though. It is a bacteria that can usually be taken care of pretty easily.

yes.  im not all medical or anything, but, when someone has a uti, it is an infection, like any other.  it can be passed on to you.  ANY time she has something going on down there, be cautious, give s*x a break, and even get yourself checked out.  im not saying "oh your girl has stds".  im just saying, even a yeast infection can give you an infection.     but....  lol.  are you meaning like, catch it by sharing air?? lol.  in that case, i don't know.  but im pretty sure you can't CATCH a uti just by standing near someone with one.  one thing though, anyone im close with, like my best girl friend for example, when she thinks she's pregnant, i totally think i am too.  even if i haven't had s*x in a long while.  we can actually make ourselves sick just by thinking we are...  it's funny.  (and my bff is not a s**t.  lol.  she has a boyfriend)
