Is a vertical jump of 24.7" normal?

Question

Im 5'5" about... and when my vertical leap was measured they said it was about 24". (without jumping) Is that normal? or was the equipment measuring the jump wrong? cuz that seems pretty high

it's pretty good for 5.5 I guess you won't need a step ladder at the net  lol

that's a pretty huge jump, that's all i can say.

I am just impressed that they measured your vertical leap without you jumping.

no. . that is pretty normal.   I am 5'8" and had a vertical of 41" in high school and could dunk!!

that's really good. that's abnormally high, not doubting you or anything. i'm 5'8 with a vertical of about 20. they (coaches) say thats pretty high.

great job, you should do high jump in track.

that seems pretty good, not too high. I think mine was 22 or 24 in high school, can't remember which... some of the really good girls had verticals close to 30"...wow!
