  1. Yes, a vitamin deficiency can be life threatening. I have only researched potassium since during treatment mine became low. There can be serious effects from certain low vitamins and minerals.

  2. what is the vitamin? what blood test did you have done? it depends. did the doc tell you this or did you just look at the results yourself? cause some things you can just take the vitamins yourself.

  3. Where did you get these results from?  Were they carried out in a registered clinical center, or just a friend helping out?

If in a proper center, then your doctor or a clinician will explain them to you, and depending on what the tests say, they will advise if you need to take shots or supplements.

This could be caused by not eating right food - I had potassium deficiency and was put on foul-tasting pills - rebelled, and was told "you can eat bananas if you like!"

So ask what are alternatives - and good luck.

  4. Definitely not, but you should pay attention to it. Vitamin deficiency, if not check, will result to life threathening sickness.

  5. Absolutely, depending on the deficiency. If you are deficient in calcium, for instance .. you could go into hypocalcemic shock, which could lead to death. You don't state what vitamin your are deficient in, so it's hard to give any certain answer.
