Is a vivatar 7 mega pixel camera good?

I'm a designer/photographer ~ and went through the same thoughts that you have now some time back ~ it's really want you want at the end of the day.

7 pix is fine ~ if you want to put it through your computer, and have the right programmes to edit [like PSP9] you will get good results.

Vivitar are at the cheaper end of the market, but that doesn't mean that it will not give you what you want ~ if you have a good printer [Canon to name just one] you should get the results, so long as you use the camera correctly. I have six cameras, but the one I take out in my pocket is an Olympus C-60 Zoom ~ now this is only 6.1 pix ~ but the quality is as close to professional as you will get from a small camera.

Look on the net ~ sometimes people like Olympus have "reconditioned" cameras available cheaper than they would be in the shops ~ it where one has been bought and has to go back to the factory because something is wrong ~ they sell it cheaper [with a years warranty] so you could buy a better model, but again it's all about what you want to produce yourself.

The topmost companies are Canon and Nikon. You should go in for a 7 megapixel camera of either of these companies. As far as vivatar is concerned  its quality is not that good rather its not good at all. Since you are making a good investment i want it to be worth your money.

So I would say that you should buy either Nikon or Canon. If you don't want either of these then go in for Sony or Olympus.

Well...personally I would not buy a Vivatar Camera. But I guess it depends on your budget. Best to buy, Sony, Panasonic, Kodak, Fuji or Olympus...and the such like. They tend to be much better quality and they have better lenses.

Don"t go with Vivitar. Choose between a Fuji, Canon or Sony.

i wouldnt get a vivatar they suck! Kodaks the way!
