  1. My only experience with a Vizio is that my daughter bought a 42" from Wal-Mart.  It lasted 1 week and started to have problems.  She had to pack it up and have them replace it.  These brilliant people came to deliver the TV in the rain.  My daughter wasn't home at the time, because they never called in advance, and left the TV in the rain by the front door.  She had to haul it in herself. My son-in-law was out of town at the time.  The box it came in literally fell apart from the soaking it took.  I told her to give them a piece of her mind to these idiots, but I don't think she did.  She just wanted her TV.   Lucky for her, it works fine as of this writing.

  2. Vizio is a third tier, disposable, junk TV. The only benefit to buying Vizio is the cheap initial cost. STAY AWAY from Vizio and the other brands you've never heard of before the last couple of years, and from brands that you associate with appliances and cheap electronics, like Vizio, Olevia, Ilo, Insignia, Element, Maxent, Polaroid, Westinghouse, RCA, and Sanyo.

  3. It's an okay tv, but the sound quality kind of sucks. As for what the other guy posted: Vizio, Polaroid, Westinghouse, and Sanyo are very good TVs.
