I am a bridesmaid and wearing a black floor length gown to the wedding. I have a silver coloured Tommy Hilfiger watch with a square white face..link to a picture of the watch included. Is it dressy enough to wear to a formal event?

  1. I feel that a watch with a formal gown should be a smaller, elegant watch.  Not too big.  I think this one (although it's hard to really tell the size) might be a little too chunky to go with a formal dress.  You want something delicate and not overpowering.

  2. yeah too chunky, and it will make the whole outfit look cheap.

wear something smaller and more delicate.

  3. I don't know why not. You might try to wear a wrist-wreath of flowers, if you are uncomfortable with just the watch by itself.

  4. No, I would reccomend not wearing that paticuliaur watch, It probably is not dressy enough and if you are even having slightest doubt I would not wear it. However if you still want to wear something on your wrist get a jeweled bracelet or jeweled watch, however if you do wear a bracelet or watch like that dont make it to extravagent the day is supposed to be all about the bride and her beuty. glad i could help you.

  5. eww...lord no!!!
