Is a water polo cap stretchy?

is it...is it similar to a regular swimming cap just with ear protectors?

no its not like a normal swimming cap, I play waterpolo and its really rough if your deciding whether to play or not. But the material on the cap is not stretchy at all its like ummmmmm I don't know what the material is called but It's like a thick unstretchy material.Sorry I cant explain, hope this helps

water polo caps are actually made of a tough cloth, as opposed to the latex or silicone the swim caps are made of.

No. Actually its an evolved polo cap. Like the actual polo sport you see people play on horses. Therefore it has a more clothy feel to it. The material is not as rubbery/latex feeling as you imagine it to be. This however does make the caps not as stretchy.
