Yes, every one I've ever been around has been very good. They are high energy so be prepared for walks and play times with a pup/young dog.

i rescued one a few years ago, but sadly a roomate accidently let him out and he got hit by a car, they are good dogs but be prepared to play play and play some more very high energy dogs, mine would never sit still. they are good with children, and are friendly, but of course it depends on how you socialize them as with any dog.
