Question:

Is a white or silver motorcycle helmet safer for visibility?

I have black one and my son has a silver one. I would like to get a silver one but now I'm thinking that a white one might be safer for visibilty. Is there really a diffrance beteen the two colors for visibilty ?

  1. No theres no difference. As a biker who's been wiped out by a myopic car driver, the best advice is to ALWAYS ride with your front light on dipped (low) beam. Drivers usually see the light and look again. Remember if they don't see your bike they wont see your helmet. Happy biking


  2. The white would be a better choice but a florescent color would be alot more noticeable...

  3. Not that much, but if you wanna be really safe, you should get a glow in the dark one with neon lights on it, thats says "Don't Crash Into Me!!!"
