Is a white tongue a sign of liver detox OR liver problems?

I started taking Jarrow formula's "Liver PF" a few days ago and have developed a white tongue. Does anyone know if this means my liver is detoxing from the pills OR if the pills are harming my liver and the whiteness is a byproduct? Thanks!
