  1. not sure but I know it is tradition all around the world for the person who the funeral is being held for is dead, no-longer, keeled over, kaput, gonzo....


  2. My great grandmother was Russian Jew and from what I understand A simple wooden casket is preferred, I don't think color is an issue An ornate all-wood casket, though ritually acceptable, is not in the spirit of the law so plain is preferred.

  4. yes i am russian and it is traditional by the god makahiki if you use a white wooden casket in a funeral the body will have a happy afterlife if you do not they will not have a happy afterlife
