  1. This question seems to be personal opinion.

I liken it to, is the glass half full, or half empty.

But, I would wager that the zebra is white with black stripes.

If nature follows the simplest order, meaning it find the easiest most uncomplicated solution to the problem, then I believe that proves that it is black stripes on a white background.

This is my opinion, because putting white stripes on top of a black background would cause inherent color leeching problems.  White on top of black would turn out more gray, unless you use multiple layers.  However, if you put black on top of white, then you can get a consistent color,  with one coat.

Again, i don't think this has any real authenticity to it, I just believe that his stripes are alternating colors, sort of like a birth mark, or a patch of different colored hair.  A birthmark is not a seperate color on top of another color, it is just a different color from the start.

    Good Luck

  2. The zebra is a donkey, the donkey is stupid.

  3. A zebra is white with black stripes.  How do I know?  Because albino zebras, are all white.  Check photo on top right.  If it was naturally black, when it lost its extra pigment, it would be all black.
