Is abebooks.com a trusted/reliable site to buy textbook in US?

I want to buy textbook for college semester and i saw the site abebooks.com which i think i outside US i was wondering if it is even legal to buy books from there and have them shipped in the US....if it is legal whats the average shipping time? i really want to buy from them cause the book cost in like 10 bucks to buy but don't want them to arrive 3 months from now or get arrested...

Yes I buy from AbeBooks all the time. When you order from AbeBooks you are actually buying from a small bookstore somewhere in America.

Make sure that you are getting the correct year of the textbook - otherwise you might get one that is too old of the same name and author.

Yes of course. I've bought used books on abebooks.com, not textbooks, but just novels and stuff like that. The shipping time depends on the businesses that sell the books. I have usually gotten my books within a week or two. Not too bad.
