  1. I think that it's not murder since it doesn't concern someone who is alive.  It's like a few years ago when people said their houses were worth so much.  Until they were sold, they really had no value.  So until a child is born, it is not alive.

For example. today a 7-month pregnant traffic officer was run over.  The news said that she died.  It made no mention of the fetus/baby/embryo.

  2. Of course it's killing .  Is it murder ?  that's still up for debate .

  3. i think it is killing and i think it is murder but then i am very old and i do not believe in the morning after pill ... that is for careless stupid people who cannot look to what they are up to.

  4. So much debate on pro choice/ pro life seems to miss the point of a woman's right to choose up until the 20th week of conception.

And overturning the legal right, won't stop those who have the means to have an abortion in another country.  Those who don't, will be left to the clandestine clinics for better or worse.

  5. It all depends on your own view.  There is no scientific point at which life starts.  Some believe it begins at the second of conception, so do not believe it begins until one is born.  Most believe it begins at somewhere in between.

  6. It's murder; except, special circumstances rule it out. Those special circumstances are sever rape trauma, and disease.

What would warrant murder in my eyes is in the case the woman blatantly spread her legs, took no precaution, and in the process found out she's pregnant; young girls with no knowledge whatsoever and have been convinced this is how they are going to receive love and the parents step in they are not included.  There, now that I have that out of the way I shall continue, suddenly decide they don't want it any more and the worse of all is those who suddenly well into their second to third trimesters do it.  I am speaking mostly of adults, not teeny boppers.

  7. It is killing but it's not murder, and if I ever get pregnant, I'll kill it if I have to ;D Thumb me down!

  8. Pulling a weed is "killing"

h**l, even an excised tumor dies.

  9. It is murder. It is its own being. The right to life is more important than the right to privacy.

  10. Of course it's killing, no knowledgeable person will deny that, but where opinion comes in is whether or not it's murder.

  11. A lot of things are killing:  mousetrap, flyswatter, weeding your garden, slaughterhouse.

But as far as what you're saying, birth control pills kill.  The spermicide in a condom or diaphragm kill sperm.  Life is killed before it began.

If my wife was pregnant before we were ready, and her pill didn't prevent the pregnancy, why would it evil to terminate a pregnancy we tried to keep from fertilization.

  12. Of course its killing.

I kill every second technically, because my arms and legs kill bacteria thats on the surfaces i touch.

I still think it is wrong to abort, if you do not want the child there is always adoption, and before that there is always the freakin condom/birth control pill/morning after pill.

Abortion really shouldn't even be that neccessary or common, we give people every oppurtunity to protect themselves, and its all for naught.

There are tons of other options to abortion, ones that are less stressful on the woman's body i might add.

I dunno, something is just disturbing to me that it is perfectly legal to kill out of convenience.

  13. Yes it is killing. The only reason people try to get other wise so people can get abortions when ever it suits them. Not just as medical emergencies(as in life or death of the carrier,in early pregnancy)Thats why its such a controversy.Just some one trying to make some people happy that want to over use it.Like with some other laws.

  14. I suppose that would depend on when "life" begins....and science has yet to make a definitive ruling on that.

Certainly to those who believe life begins when sperm fertilizes egg, abortion is killing.  But there are many people who follow a different belief system.
