  1. Don't take any chances with that.  Get Bones Speed Cream instead, order it, its great and just takes a drop or two a bearing.  Acetone is sometimes recommended for bearings, but Bones recommends citrus cleaners like Sonic Citrus Bearing Cleaner.  If you don't want to go through the hassle of ordering this too, either get Acetone like you said, or Rubbing Alcohol (97%).  Good Luck =)

  2. NO. Those things might help for a little while, but don't take any chances, it shortens your bearings' life. Also stay away from WD-40, it's no good, just go buy Bones Speed Cream or Bones Bearing Cleaner or whatever, I use just a regular lubricant for bearings and you can find it anywhere.

  3. use anything with alchohol>>but no water!

also i choose to use fingernail polish REMOVER, it's sually like this blue liquid u can find at the dollar store or like at wal-mart or sumthing as long as there is alchohol just remember that, then u kinda have to skate a little to get the full effect of it too. and plz don't use WD-40
