Is acting in Islam a sin? Even if its animation

I have a dream of being on Broadway and being in a musical like hairspray. That kind of has a good meaning because its teaching people that no matter what shape , size or color you are, we are all the same. So i just want some info on acting in Islam and acting on Broadway, or musical theater. And somebody told me that acting in an animation is a sin but the people don't see your body or hear you sing, they only hear your voice .. So i need some websites and HELP

it all depends on the inner motive behind the action. we cant say all actions are sinful But today mostly it becomes a sinful act.

It depicts faults as something to be avoided and highly praises virtue and calls people to adhere to it. It exposes lessons and experiences in a way that makes the message presented indirectly, through inspiration. As long as acting, either cinematic or theatrical, achieves this aim, presents morality and good taste, does not reveal private parts or provokes sexual instincts , it is deemed lawful as religion does not prohibit this kind of acting........

Islam, while allowing all entertainments that cheer one’s mind and body, strictly states that they should not transgress the limits. Islam detests all those pleasures which keep man away from the consciousness of God and those that cause moral degeneration..

Don't speak it might be a sin in Islam. Don't blink it could be a sin aswell.

Just sit still and do nothing. Stay home do not socialize read the Quran 24/7 don't even dare look at a non-Mahram girl. This is a life every Muslim should live.
